film and photoshoots.

Introduction

This month we want to share some of our film houses that have been booking up quickly for shoots. From Burcote and Heaver House that we set up in 2021, to more recent additions that you have probably heard us talk about: Eglantine, Bel Air and West House. It is not a surprise that all but one of these houses are located within London and the M25, which proves to be desirable for a lot of our bookers.

1: Eglantine

Wandsworth/London SW18

Eglantine Film Location is an English home with a New York Style influence. It is sleek, contemporary and architecturally designed. The house is popular for food shoots and has even had various celebrity appearances such as Idris Elba and David Beckham! The modern style and minimalist spaces are great for editorials and fashion shoots.

Home Features:

  • Modern, Soho-House decor

  • Exposed brick kitchen

  • Mezzanine with double height ceilings

Shoot Spaces:

  • 1 x Kitchen/reception room: With the holy trinity- floor-to-ceiling crittal-style windows, exposed brick walls and a marble island counter-top.

  • 1 x Snug: Modern and chic but still cosy and popping with colour. It seamlessly leads on from the kitchen.

  • 5 x Bedrooms: All designed and styled to perfection and all unique for versatile shoot spaces.

  • 3 x Bathrooms/shower rooms: Featuring more brick and marble for a modern touch. A free standing bath tub and fireplace!

  • 1 x Mezzanine overlooking kitchen/dining: This one speaks for itself.. but it can double as a study space or gym and has a glass barrier for more openness.

  • 1 x Sitting room: A double sitting room for double the shoot space. Light and airy with glass windows.

  • 1 x Stylish garden room: With the most stunning green velvet sofa and wooden walls for a homely feel.

2: Bel Air Surrey Hills

Chiddingfold/Surrey GU8

Bel Air Surrey Hills Film Location. Behold our only house today outside of the M25 and another one with design influences from the states. Bel Air Surrey Hills is a spectacular, Californian-style home set in fourteen acres of land. It is architecturally designed and luxurious, proving popular for high-end fashion and larger film jobs.   • 1 x Open plan kitchen/dining area: More space than you could ask. It has floor to ceiling glass, sliding doors that open out onto the garden and pond.

  • 1 x Snug: The kitchen opens onto the snug so it is still filled with light and room for crew to move around.

  • 1 x Formal Dining room: A real star of the show, with mustard velvet seats and an iconic wallpaper to match.

  • 1 x Bar room: A picture perfect bar room with cloud white sofas. Just heavenly.

  • 6 x Bedrooms: All hugely spacious and with dreamy designs. There is a space for everyone.

  • 6 x Ensuite bathrooms: Accessible and beautifully lit up with natural light.

  • 1 x Boot room

  • 1 x Gym: Large blank space that over looks the grounds and swimming pool, with wooden detailed walls.

  • 1 x Office

  • 1 x Cinema room

  • 1 x Steam/spa room

3: Heaver House

Heaver Estate/London SW17

Heaver House is a beautiful double fronted Victorian family house with colourful and eclectic interiors inspired by our owners South-African heritage. Heaver House is loved for its bright and stunning open plan kitchen, attracting a range of fashion, food and film shoots.   • Large, colourful kitchen with island bench: With all the light and colourful fun you could ever need. Perfect for cooking shows and branded ads.

  • Six large bedrooms: All completely unique to each other, so fab and versatile.

4: West House

Clapham/London SW4

West House Film Location is an incredible converted vicarage/community hall in Clapham. It boasts unique touches inside and out. Especially its original, arched shelving in the sitting room. This room was recently featured in a home interiors job for Pooky Lighting. There is a driveway and large, private, garden with a swimming pool and lawn.

  • Historically interesting home with original features. It is a converted vicarage in Clapham.

  • Large sitting/Snooker room

  • Outdoor swimming pool

Shoot Spaces:

  • Open plan kitchen/diner/lounge

  • Utility/cloakroom

  • Sitting room with purple, velvet sofas and so much space

  • Snooker x sitting room- double width and with gorgeous arched bookshelves.

  • 4 bedrooms (with a spare room and ensuite for hair and makeup)

  • 2 x bathrooms

  • 1 x shower room

  • Downstairs cloakroom

5: Burcote House

Earlsfield/London SW18

Burcote Film Location is a modern, Edwardian home in SW18. It has a stunning double-width, open plan kitchen/dining/television area. It conveniently has a separate room for shoot production and is loved for its spaciousness and bold colours. This tends to attract editorial and magazine jobs, a recent one being the Telegraph Luxury x Jessica Kate Plummer issue in June.

Home Features:

  • Huge open-plan kitchen with grand piano and modern colour-way

  • Glass roofed conservatory that opens out onto the multi-tiered garden

  • Large garden with patio and lawn

Shoot Spaces:

  • 1 x Open kitchen/diner/television area- the open-plan is most popular space for shoots with its light and room for crew

  • 1 x Glass roofed seating area

  • 1 x Study with multicoloured wallpaper

  • 5 x Bedrooms

  • 3 x Bathrooms/shower rooms

  • 1 x Loo

  • 1 x Sitting room area for crew with coffee/tea and sofas

  • 1 x Garden

  • 1 x Outdoor storage area for equipment
